TIMESHARE is commissioned painting that addresses the feeling of being pulled in various directions and the need to taking ownership of one’s time. Charcoal and acrylic paint were the mediums used to create this 30″ x 20″ painting.

LOOK TO THE HILLS started as a demonstration for my Drawing class where we grid a portrait while exploring color value and temperature. For this drawing curvilinear lines were used to grid the image distorting the viewers perspective (referencing instability), as the figure “looks towards the hills” for clarity.
